Committee Luncheon

Everyone enjoyed the delicious lunch, fellowship, and successful committee meetings this past Sunday. We appreciate Becky Merriman for our scrumptious meal and the Elders for conducting the successful committee meetings. It is exciting to see the dedication of so many to work in the church through our committees. We thank all who helped set up the tables, decorate, serve, clean up, and then participated in our meeting.

Two teams of dedicated golfers braved the thunderstorms and played a very successful round of golf this past Saturday. Our teams came in first and second place. The first place team was composed of Mike Bales, Jim Holder, Ron Sellers, and Randy Sellers. The second place team was composed o John Spencer, Joe Spencer, Blake Spencer, and Ed Lawman. We thank Mike Bales for organizing this fun time of fellowship!

Celebration Class

The Celebration Class will be studying Matthew 5-7, The Sermon on the Mount. This is Jesus' own description of what He wanted his followers to be like; the inner purity needed for outward deeds and relationships.

We meet upstairs by the old fellowship hall. Come and join us at 9:30am on Sundays.

Thank You

Thank you to Ethel Hogue for her informative young disciple time with our children and for making the delicious Communion bread for our celebration of the Lord's Supper. It was exciting to know we were participating with Christians around the world as we partook of the bread and cup.

We appreciate Rhonda Merriman, April Bentley, and Becky Merriman for thoroughly cleaning the Sanctuary.
